Who I am

Experience. Precision. Adventure.

The northern expedition planning expertise behind SKYVENTURE.

Tanguy Detroz

Entrepreneur, pilot and northern expedition designer.

A seasoned entrepreneur and business owner, Tanguy learned to fly ultralight aircraft in 2012.

He obtained an FAA Private Pilot License in 2018, followed by Instrument Ratings — FAA and EASA — in 2025. He has been exploring Europe in a ULM for several years and has now accumulated more than 1,500 flight hours in ULMs and airplanes.

Tanguy also lived in Norway from 1992 to 1993, creating a lasting personal connection with Scandinavia that now shapes SKYVENTURE’s focus on Norway, Iceland and the wider North.

Philosophy

Great aviation adventures are built on preparation, humility and flexibility.

SKYVENTURE exists to give pilots the confidence to explore spectacular northern regions while respecting weather, terrain, aircraft limitations and group dynamics.
